We are told to wait…,
Wait for the perfect job,
the perfect season,
the perfect chance.
But the perfect moment;
it never comes.
Life does not wait.
It beats, it breathes,
right here, right now.
If joy cannot be found
in this single breath,
in this flicker of time,
it will not be found
in the distant tomorrow.
Happiness is not a treasure
buried in the future.
It is not earned
by trophies or titles.
It is a choice,
a turning of the heart,
a seeing with new eyes.
Every breath is holy.
The sunlight on your skin,
the air filling your lungs,
the whisper of wind
through quiet places,
all of it sings,
if you will only listen.
Think of your life
as a garden of moments.
Each second, a blossom.
Savor one,
and the whole field blooms.
Ignore it,
and the colors fade,
lost to waiting.
So let go of “later.”
Tomorrow is a fragile myth.
Only now exists,
and it is enough.
Drop the weight
of perfect conditions.
Joy needs no permission.
It was yours all along.
Be still.
Be awake.
Watch the ordinary
unfold into wonder.
And above all,
dance.
Dance with the moment,
before it slips away.
